Inspired by the original Beni Ouarain rugs and carpets, a confederation of 17 Berber tribes living in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco with a distinctively archaic espresso colored design on a variated grey ground.  Diamond shaped grids are woven with a shaggy pile, retaining the authentic indigenous character of early Moroccan rugs with minimalist linearity and graphic symbolism.
