Finely woven with silk and looped skeins of wool, "Face" was inspired by the shape of human physiognomy, especially as seen in the designs and furniture of the 1920s international style.  Colors in deep blue, white and gray.

Trained in architecture, L.A. designer Micah Heimlich mixes new and old in his daring takes on the designer rug.  Here tokens of high fashion are adapted to the eclectic demands of modern living, blending Bauhaus with subcultural icons, Medieval calligraphy and contemporary art forms.
